Program Overview

This course teaches makers to design, build, and deploy custom AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio. Participants learn what agents are, how Copilot Studio works, and how to create an agent and configure topics, trigger phrases, and conversation logic. The programme covers applying generative AI to produce natural-language responses, grounding agents in trusted knowledge sources such as websites, SharePoint, and documents, and building actions with connectors and flows to integrate agents with business systems. It extends into authentication, security, and governance, along with publishing agents to channels and monitoring their performance so that solutions run reliably. It suits business makers, consultants, and IT professionals building conversational and agentic solutions, and is delivered through instructor-led presentation, guided demonstrations, and hands-on labs.

What You'll Learn

  • Create and scope an agent in Microsoft Copilot Studio
  • Write system instructions that shape every answer the agent gives
  • Build conversation paths using topics, trigger phrases and branching
  • Extract values from user input with entities, and carry state with variables
  • Ground an agent on SharePoint, files, websites and Dataverse
  • Diagnose a bad answer by fixing the knowledge source, not the prompt
  • Add actions and connectors so the agent takes real action
  • Publish to Teams, set permissions, and read the analytics
